Welcome, I'm your camp host Crystalyn! 

Growing up in Michigan, I've had the privilege of enjoying the natural beauty the state has to offer. I love the outdoors and the benefits that come with getting a little fresh air everyday. Over the last 15 years I've camped and hiked in Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming.

I'll never forget my first camping trip. I was in the UP, using decades old gear, totally unprepared. Although it was May, it was still very cold, AND I had to set up camp in the dark. Needless to say, a lot of things went very wrong that night. 

But waking up the next morning to the sound of a lively river, the smell of a fresh forest, and campfire coffee, I was eager to start planning my next trip, and figuring out what I needed. 

Camping can be intimidating at first and my goal is to make it an enjoyable, relaxed, stress-free experience for you!
